The Multimedia department is also responsible for recording lectures, conferences, workshops, seminars, chapel services, and other campus events. If you need to coordinate the recording of a campus event, or if you would like to request a copy of a recorded campus event, please contact Multimedia.

If you have questions about multimedia services, please feel free to contact the IT department (email or phone: 513-244-8647).

Audio-Visual Resources (DVDs, Videotapes, Audio Recordings, etc.)

The CCU library has a large collection of audio-visual resources, including (but not limited to): instructional videos, video curriculum kits, music recordings, and audiobooks. In addition, the library maintains an archival collection of audio and/or video recordings of several past campus events, including recordings of chapel services.

Many of the items in the collections have been cataloged, and users can locate them by using the library’s online catalog, SCROLLS. If users are interested in finding out what audio-visual resources are available on a particular topic, they should first do a subject or keyword search, and then use the “limit” option to limit their results to different categories of audio-visual resources.

Some of the items in the library’s audio-visual collection may be checked out for limited periods of time (usually seven days or less). Items should be checked out at the circulation desk.

In addition to the resources in the CCU library, students and faculty can also borrow a limited number of audio-visual resources through the OhioLINK central catalog. The procedure for requesting these items is the same as requesting books. Begin your search at the OhioLINK central catalog: http://olc1.ohiolink.edu/search/.

Faculty and students may also request to borrow videos through interlibrary loan service. Please contact the public services librarian for assistance.

Faculty members may also make recommendations for purchasing videos for classroom use or research. Requests should be submitted to the library director.

If you have any questions about accessing items from the CCU Library’s collections, please contact the library at 513-244-8680, or by email.
